Five recommendations to have a long and healthy life

Could be a challenge try reducing to a few, what has been called as effective strategies to have healthy and get long life, because of there too many tendencies and recommendations based on attitude changes, preventative knowledge acquirement, and taking responsibilities about of our own health. However, most of us unknown the true reason to do it.
There is no a magic formula to be healthy and get long life, there is no a magic beverage to drink or a magic behavior to make to achieve our goal, however, a good combination of motivation, determination, and perseverance, could be the key to get a healthy and long life. Human beings are able to make incredible efforts to reach something when they are really persuaded to do it, it means, if the individual knows well what are they pursuing to be healthy and how can put into practice they will be best motivated to make changes in their lifestyles.
Knowing what are the benefits of these new attitudes and the most important thing, experiencing in midterm good results would represent a great basis to keep performing the same behavior because we know that it works. People are most motivated to do what they know it works because the successful experience gives the self-confidence to repeat it making pleasant the learning process.
It is essential that the individual knows what the importance of a preventative behavior is. When people decide to change their lifestyles for better, always should be under the real knowledge of what is the most convenient for them. In this sense, the best and primary strategy to get a healthy and long life is to know how to improve our health, why for, and how to take advantage of the opportunities to constantly live a healthy life.
Additionally, is indispensable to understand that we are comprehensive persons, which means we need a balance between our inside with our outside, it means, we need to have good emotional health to have a complete health, the mental health will assure that we take best decisions regarding our health choices, and, definitely will help to sustain changes in the long-term.
First, take at least 20 minutes of your time for yourself, it means, spend time doing something that you really enjoy and improve your mood state, second, no matter where you are, drink water, nothing is best for your body that drink water, your kidneys, and cardiovascular system will be thankful. Eat at least four or five portions of fruits and vegetables, no matter the time, or probably the size of portions, just include these marvelous antioxidants in your daily basis and your body will smile. Sleep at least 6 hours per day, if you have the opportunity to sleep more than that, then good for you, but if do not, just try to sleep that amount of time, and include a nap as far as possible. Spend time giving to others love, enjoy yourself and be content with your life while you are working for the others wellness, this is the most important section of the recommendations, people who are dedicated to helping others to be happy is surprisingly happiest that people who do not.
Forgive and let it go whatever is causing pain and emotional afflictions, doing so, you are improving your inside and influencing positively your outside, because people who are emotionally balanced are constantly laughing, with great doses of hope. At the extent, persons understand that how we can feel us is a decision, and how we can handle it is and will be a key that will have an enormous influence in our health status at the end.
