The level of contentment is how much gladness, satisfaction, or conformity a person can feel respect to what he/she has, or who is in his/her life so far, it is related with how thankful a person is with what has or who is; at the extent a person enjoy what has today, she/he can be currently happy, regardless of what they are waiting for, the delays during the path, or what never come.
But how can be possible enjoy what we have today, if we are very busy to think or even to see a little details in our lives that is supposed to make us happy, it is a real challenge try to focus our minds in little details when we have bills to pay or children to attend, however, it is the best strategy to achieve a true contentment to take intentional time to count our blessings, even the most basics.
For example, we can take time while driving to feel gratitude for the life, being aware at the same time of so many cases of people who have died a minute ago, also, being conscious about our breathing we can say a word of thanks for being able to breathe or have a car to drive, or have family or a room to clean, even for having water on the tap, knowing that so many people are without basic services or have not family.
Being content is a decision that a person can take when is aware of little details that make our day possible, this sort of thoughts enclose a very common approach that has proved be effective to lead people toward a successful performance, the mindfulness strategy contributes to making people more aware about what are they doing and why so, having better results and an improved emotional status at the end.
