It is well known the existence of hundreds of thousands diets to lose weight that certainly works really fast to achieve the precious objective; however, their results are not sustainable in the time having dangerous health effects and an enormous fee of discouragement at the end.

The human body is regulated by a set of the biochemical process ensuring that all that person intakes during the day is transformed into enough energy to carry out the daily normal routine, in theory, what people consume per day should be equivalent to what they burn. The problem starts, when what people intakes is of high-caloric content and surpasses what people to burn, having as a consequence that the excess is stored as fat, for this reason, increasingly people are gaining weight due to an unbalance in what they are ingesting, compared with what they are burning as energy.

The main problem is that most of the people do not know about the calories and do not have time to take care about to watch the weight, we are immersed in a complicated routine of duties that we do not have enough time to count calories and avoid gain weight. The agitated life obliges to eat whatever we find with the unique purpose that will be fast, easy and cheap. The multiple obligations that must be fulfilled have predisposed and in some way have distracted people to ignore the importance of a healthy eating.

What most of the people do is trying to get peace of mind ignoring the reality, justifying it through the excuses as: insufficient time to get into a diet, unaffordability of healthy food, complications in the way of preparation, excessive tendency to eat saturated fat, overuse of cane sugar, and processed food, and the worse reason, the pleasure to enjoy their life such as it is now, it means, do not recognize that something is wrong with their health, therefore, they do not need to do anything.

There is no problem in enjoying what we are eating, the situation begins to get complicated when what we are eating is not nutritious enough or high-fat saturated, because the organism automatically will be taking these components of the blood into the normal process of digestion including these dangerous elements toward inside the cells which will be accumulated in the form of adipose tissue and fat tissue over important organs as the liver ending in complex metabolic-endocrine process as consequence.

To understand in simple words how this works, we have to know that all the digestive process in our bodies is regulated by a complex hormonal system that helps to incorporate all that we have eaten to our tissues transforming it into energy to finally live a normal and healthy life. These hormones are responsible to regulate the metabolism of carbs, fat, and proteins being the insulin one of the most important because is in charge of facilitating the process to include the sugar known as glucose into the cells, specifically into the mitochondria to finally transform it in energy. A normal cycle stipulate that adequate amounts of glucose be included within cells to perform regular bodily process, however, while more sugar the people consume will increase insulin release to reduce the amount of glucose in blood and in this way, helps to enter inside the cells effectively.

On the other hand, also increases people's sugar consumption given high-level of insulin in blood, people have the need to eat more and more sugar generating a dangerous disorder known as insulin resistance where although the insulin level is high the tissues are not responding to the command to include these amount of glucose into the cells, remaining then in the blood and ending in the most cases with the inability to deal with it, putting, unfortunately, the individual in a diabetes condition.

Some investigators have described that the key to weight loss is not to be an obsessed-compulsive accountant of calories, but perform a low-sugar diet to keep the normal level of insulin ensuring that bodily needs be satisfied without gain weight. They strongly recommend incorporating physical activity into the daily routine to accelerate the metabolism and facilitate the process to weight loss transforming all that the people consume in energy in an effective way. When people do physical activity create the need to incorporate more nutrients into cells to get enough energy to perform the activity, avoiding the storage of excess keeping in this sense a healthy level of glucose in the blood.

The key is not to keep us in starvation all day due to the risk to gain weight, because reducing the meals to one or two per day will make the metabolism process slow using our few intakes to store because the organism understands that is an emergency and must store all that receive to perform the essential bodily functions effectively. The experts recommend that people should have three low-sugar but nutritive main meals with three snacks between them, in this way the organism uses what it needs without storing facilitating the energy production.

In a nutshell, if you want to weight loss is necessary to define at least five simply recommendations to achieve it:

  1. Get rid of all high-caloric, and high-fat saturated food in your diet.

  2. Eat three main meals followed by three snacks per day.

  3. Increase up your consumption of water by at least 2 liters per day, as well as vegetables, fruits, and fiber.

  4. Keep up practicing physical activities as walking, jogging, running, biking or hiking at least three times per week.

  5. Take time to rest, recreate and meditate, enjoy time with yourself will improve the way as you see the process of weight loss changing your perspective in a positive way.

At the extent you can get progress in your weight loss process, is for sure that will increase your self-confidence improving your self-esteem which will allow developing your maximum potential in whatever you want to do, having at the end a better life.
